How the Nightly Puzzle Triggers

The puzzle does not unlock all at once — it drips out one night at a time. Each day at the daily rotation, the hub spawns a new themed maze built around one of the nine participating horror games, from 99 Nights in the Forest on Night 1 to Warden on Night 9. Entering the maze starts that night's time-locked quest; the clues you need are scattered along its walls and dead ends. Walk the perimeter first, then sweep inward — the monster's patrol is easiest to read from a distance. Completing the quest banks your clues and rewards, and pushes the chain one night closer to the final code challenge.

The exact condition that unlocks the final answer-code entry — whether it needs all nine nights cleared, a fixed number of quests, or something faster — is still marked [unverified] in our puzzle code guide until it is confirmed in-game.

Assembling the Pieces & Entering the Answer

Each night yields pieces, not the answer itself: fragments you collect inside the maze that accumulate across the event rather than spelling anything on their own. The event hub is the assembly surface — check it between nightly runs, because its state changes as your collection grows. Order matters: pieces correspond to the nights they came from, so assemble them in night order (The Deer first, The Overseer last) rather than the order you personally grabbed them. The assembled word or code is then entered once, at the final challenge — not in a hub code box.
